Strategist.
Consultant.
Coach.
I am an educational technology professional that works with organizations as they explore how to use technology to support learning..and I work with parents as they navigate the space that these tools hold in their homes and in their children’s lives.
I started my career as an educator just as technology began to be more than just a random computer in the back of a classroom. In just a few short years, I began to see and imagine the possibilities that technology can bring when used effectively and responsibly. Over the years, I had the chance to provide those opportunities for students across various grade levels in various states, and that work took me to conferences on the state, regional, national, and international level…and ultimately to the United States Department of Education’s Office of Educational Technology, where I worked on educational technology policy focusing on educator preparation and educational technology plans. Additionally, I amplified the voices of educators across the United States. Now, I help organizations provide the same possibilities that technology gave my students when I was a classroom educator…and I help parents navigate how these technology wonders can exist in their homes and their children’s lives RESPONSIBLY.
When I am not helping organizations open doors to the possibilities that technology can bring to learning experiences or working with parents as they parent responsibly in the digital age, I am living and loving my life with my husband Jonathan and our amazing two children, Nicholas and Christian.
